Kevin Dyels, originally from Northern California, is a 30-year veteran of the professional interpreting field. Here at Mosaic, he will work with our rockstar colleagues Amanda and Bernice to encourage, support and foster early career interpreters in their growth in the profession.
Kevin earned his degree in Theatre from the University of Maryland and has split his career between hands up interpreting and leadership positions managing interpreters and programs. He served as Production Manager for “Deaf Way II”; featuring the world’s best deaf performing arts groups over the course of a two week intense international conference and has presented workshops on Team Building and Theater.
When not interpreting, Kevin mentors new interpreters, coordinates interpreters for various conferences, theatrical productions and music festivals, and works as a professional sound designer and disc jockey. He enjoys international travel in his spare time and shares a cat named Sylvestre with his partner from Hong Kong.
