We don't go it alone
We believe we're meant to exist in community. We value the connections we've made with like-minded businesses and want to talk good about them everywhere we go. Here are a few of our most trusted partners.
Dripple is a one-of-a-kind contracting network led by the Deaf community and its allies. Dripple gives you direct access to an untapped pool of expert contractors who are Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and Hard of Hearing. They've connected us with grant writing and bookkeeping so far, and we are excited to find other ways to work together.
We partner with Peak Experiences to host twice monthly yoga in ASL sessions, lead by a Deaf instructor. Come join us and hang out afterwards to climb! Peak's mantra is that climbing is for everyone. They've got a strong adaptive climbing program and prioritize accessibility. We're thrilled to be in community with them.
Ninja Kombucha is a Richmond, Virginia staple and host of our Common Thread storytelling event. Brett and his team have created a safe, inviting, and accessible space here in Central Virginia, and their kombucha is damn good too.
ASL Champs is a Richmond-based, Deaf-led organization bringing ASL classes to the community. They provide affordable classes both in person and online. When folks ask us how to learn American Sign Language, this is where we send them.
The Coalition Theater is a nonprofit improv theater location in Richmond's historic arts district. We have loved collaborating with and learning from these fine folks. One of our core values is imagination, and boy howdy, do they help ours soar.
For more than 30 years Side by Side has provided LGBTQ+ youth with support, guidance, and a safe space to be themselves.
Through support groups and counseling services, Side by Side has helped thousands of individuals be their best selves. We are proud to partner with SxS to make sure that these vital services are accessible to all.
