The Team

Amanda was born and raised in the outskirts of Kansas City, MO with a Deaf younger brother. Interpreting just seemed like a perfect fit for someone who wanted to learn ACTUAL ASL instead of made up stuff between siblings. Before completing her degree in ASL/English Interpreting from William Woods University, she moved to San Diego, CA for an internship where she stayed for over 5 years. On a whim, she later landed in Roanoke, VA and has found her home in the mountains. She considers herself so very lucky to have a career she loves with the opportunity to meet so many amazing folks!

There has been a lot of work lately, but when *not* working, she finds herself into too many shenanigans to list. If you are up for an adventure, let Amanda know because she just may want to tag along! If you meet her in person, she will likely show you pictures of her children--fur and furless.
